Jheel (2025) is a part of the upcoming Poetry Mixtape by Raimu Itfum titled “MYTHS: From the diary of Just a F#£K Boy with Feelings”.

The piece was created as part of Soho Theatre’s Writers Lab and was originally developed as a theatre play. It was then submitted to the Tony Craze Award and in Summer of 2022 had a reading at Tara Theatre facilitated by Artistic Director Natasha Kathi- Chandra. In Spring of 2025, it completed a Seed commission by Kala Sangam Arts x Jaivant Patel Company and had dramaturgical support by Kerry Kyriacos Michael MBE. Currently to explore the themes and deconstruct storytelling, the play is being conceptualised as a Poetry Mixtape accompanied with 6 short films.

In this 10 minute piece is a 3 poetry set in Urdu, Bangla and English accompanied by scores of Mohammed Rezai. The piece conceptualises a folk story from Peshawar, about a dying lover by the lake and his reflections at the moment for his past lover.
